About the photographer
Charity Hathaway is a Council Bluffs, Ia native. She first discovered her love of photography at an early age.
Taking pictures of friends, scenery, whatever caught her eye. She loves capturing pictures "in the moment",
meaning non-posed. To her, this truly visualizes what life is about, and the moments that can be forever saved.
Initially, Charity started off taking pictures of family and friends. As her skills grew, she started
experimenting with new techniques, settings, and technologies. With the encouragement of her family and friends,
she embarked on a new career in photography, thus the launch of Emerald Eye Photography.
Through the years, Charity has taken photos for various dance and musical groups, including Sidecar 69, and Diva
Soma Belly Dance Troupe. She has expanded her repertoire to portraits, weddings, senior portraits, scenery, and
wildlife photography. Always with camera in tow, she forever looks to capture those fleeting moments that
quickly pass, but are forever remembered.
Charity is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that your photography experience is both pleasant, and
enjoyable. She won't pressure you for packages, up sells, or an insane amount of combinations of picture sizes,
etc. She simply wants you to pick what you like, and enjoy life......one picture at a time.
